Kay Vass Darling was born in Roanoke, Virginia and now lives in Richmond. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art from Greensboro College, a Master of Theological Studies from Wesley Theological Seminary, and a Master of Science in Information Science from the University of Tennessee.
